Daniel Donovan per Mangles in the service of Dr. Radford charged with mutinous and highly improper conduct...Doctor Radford states..when the bushrangers came to my farm some nights since. Donnovan appeared highly pleased at their arrival and seemed much gratified whilst they were firing upon my residence, which he had previously pointed out to them. When they were compelled to retire he expressed regret at it, and reproached one of my servants who had been particularly active in assisting me; the following morning the whole of his fellow servants requested me to send him off the farm as there could not be any safety where he was. I do not wish the prisoner to be flogged but he is a very idle worthless fellow. The prisoner made no defence. Sentenced to hard labour in the mines for 3 months and 3 years in a penal settlement
